Register Your Student Now for the 2024 Eagle U Program
The 2024 Eagle U program is now accepting registrations for the July 15-19 session.
Eagle U is a youth success retreat experience at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, for high school and college students to learn development and leadership skills that will help them thrive in today’s workforce environment.
Entrepreneur and professional mentor Steven J. Anderson co-founded Eagle U in the 1990s. He is well known for helping others find a career that’s a good fit and gain the skills they need to succeed. Anderson co-founded Eagle U after some colleagues asked him to teach their teens job-related life lessons, and he has since worked with thousands of students.
The Eagle U program is designed to help students and young adults ages 15 to 25 gain a seven-year head start on their future careers. During their time at the retreat, students will be able to network with industry leaders and mentors while enjoying fun, upbeat seminars. The curriculum includes:
- Career planning strategies
- Communication skills
- Core value identification
- Digital media strategy
- Dressing for success
- Etiquette skills
- Interviewing skills
- Networking skills
- Performance psychology
- Public speaking skills
- Strategic goal setting
- Studying skills
- Time management skills
The 2024 program tuition is $1,597 per student. This cost covers everything from participation and sleeping arrangements to meals and necessary materials. During the retreat, students will stay in the Baker University dormitories and will be offered three meals a day at the University cafeteria. Participants will have time each day to relax, spend time outdoors and catch up with new friends. Prior to the program week, students will receive an email with suggestions on what to pack and bring to the retreat.
