Advances technology and manufacturing readiness levels. Develops concepts through initial configuration, prototyping, risk reduction, verification, and validation. Advises on new product configurations with design-for-manufacturing principles. Helps define a technical path to achieve short- and long-term objectives. Develops manufacturing processes and advanced technologies for aerostructures. Writes and reviews test plans and test reports. Provides technical leadership to team of engineers and technicians. Plans and achieves key milestones. Manages collaborative research with external suppliers. Documents and communicates plans and evaluations for future work packages, i.e. bids and proposals.
