Greater Manhattan Is Growing our Healthcare and Construction Workforce!

While people think of Manhattan as a hub for jobs in agriculture, manufacturing and education, the region's growth demands an expanded healthcare and construction-trades workforce. 

Manhattan Area Technical College and other regional community colleges offer opportunities to easily and affordably gain the skills necessary for health care and construction careers. Kansas State University also offers four-year bachelor's degree programs in construction sciences, engineering, and a variety of human and animal health-related careers. 

If you need money for training, check out the Kansas Promise Scholarship, which offers funding to cover educational costs after scholarships and grants for students seeking job training in healthcare, construction, and several other high-demand industries at two-year colleges across the state.
