May perform all functions of a process mechanic or perform gas/electric welding of various metals and metal alloys to create experimental and production parts and assemblies. Performs complete inspection of procured or fabricated parts and assemblies. Initiates and documents any non-conforming condition for Material Review Board action. Performs process surveillance to assure compliance with requirements. Prepares and maintains quality records.

3-D Measurement Analyst
Creates measurement plans from engineering drawings that use photogrammetry, laser trackers, articulating arms, or other metrology 3-D instruments to measure assemblies and subassemblies. Uses computer-aided designs (CAD) graphic user interface software for design. Sets up and operates 3-D metrology instruments to check overall and detailed alignment, fit, or adjustment of assemblies.
