What’s It Like to Work in the Medical Field?

Medical and healthcare professionals work to improve the lives of others. When people think of medicine, they often think of doctors, but there are lots of different careers in this field.

Medical and healthcare professionals provide routine care like taking vitals or drawing blood, or help with urgent health issues at specialty clinics. They care for patients before, during and after procedures and treatments, and sometimes they also assist the patient’s family members.
