Ramon Gonzales started his career with HAMM Companies the Monday after high school graduation. He's been with the company ever since. 

"The summer before my senior year at Council Grove High School, I decided to get a job to gain work-life experience. I accepted an entry-level position hoping I could learn and grow. I quickly found I needed a more challenging environment to work in. Jobs were very hard to come by because this was early in the pandemic. Due to the shutdowns and socially isolating circumstances, I found my senior year was not going to be the typical high school experience. With everything going on, I decided to find a job that would be a good learning environment.   

"I really enjoy young kids, so growing up I always thought I’d become a teacher. I started down that path in college, but soon discovered it wasn’t for me. While in college, I started working at Walmart, which gave me some great experience with handling cash and working with the public.
