Career Quiz

When it’s time for your students to enroll for their Career Hunt, they will need to choose five industries they’re interested in learning more about. If they don’t have a clue which ones to pick, have them take this short, easy quiz! The quiz will provide them with the top three industries that match their preferences.

Cool Careers Episodes

If your students are eager to learn more about their favorite possible careers, have them watch some of the Cool Careers episodes related to the industries they are exploring. Each video has related worksheets available in English and Spanish, which you could assign to encourage more exploration. If you go to HirePaths.com, then visit Cool Careers Videos, you can sort our videos by industry category.

Student Reflection Sheets

Have students fill out this worksheet to process everything they learn at the Career Hunt. To ensure they’re actively listening and learning, make the reflection sheet a graded assignment or offer them extra credit if they turn it in.

Other Career-Related Activities

HirePaths offers Scavenger Hunts and BINGO cards you can use to encourage students to explore the HirePaths.com website. Incentivize students to explore the site by offering prizes or extra credit for completing these worksheets when students are finished with assignments or in advisory class periods.
